Educational Qualifications
- Aspirants should have a bachelor’s degree or a similar program in subjects like Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university.
Age Limit
- Candidates applying for the Delhi Police SI Exam must be between 20 and 25 years of age. However, there are relaxation provisions in age limits for candidates belonging to reserved categories, as outlined below:

Physical Standards
- Upon passing Paper 1 of the Delhi Police SI examination, candidates will undergo a physical endurance test. Here are the prescribed physical fitness criteria for candidates.

Medical Test
- After passing the physical test, candidates for Delhi Police SI will proceed to the Medical Test conducted by a Medical Officer from CPAF or an Assistant Surgeon. If a candidate is deemed unfit for the position, they can request a review by a medical board within 15 days.
- To be eligible, candidates should not have certain physical conditions like knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins, or a squint in their eyes. Candidates should have good eyesight without glasses or lenses. The minimum vision requirements include being able to read at a distance (6/6 in the better eye and 6/9 in the worse eye) and up close (N6 in the better eye and N9 in the worse eye).
Exam Pattern
- Stage I – CBT (Paper I/Multiple Choice Questions/200 marks)
- Stage II – Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), & Medical
- Stage III – CBT (Paper II/Multiple Choice Questions/200 marks)
Delhi Police SI Paper I Exam Pattern
- The examination will be conducted online, i.e., computer-based.
- The written examination comprises two papers: Paper I and Paper II.
- Paper I will be divided into four parts, consisting of 200 questions carrying 200 marks.
- The duration of Paper I will be 2 hours.
- While the question paper is available in Hindi, only Part A, B, and C of the Paper I exam will be in Hindi.

Delhi Police SI Paper II Exam Pattern
- Paper II includes 200 questions related to English Language & Comprehension, accounting for 200 marks in total.
- The duration of the Paper II exam is 2 hours.
- Incorrect answers will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks in both Paper I and Paper II.
- Both Paper I and Paper II consist of multiple-choice questions in their format.
