Individuals currently employed as Group ‘C’ Railway Staff or former Group ‘D’ Railway Staff, along with Casual Labour and Substitutes in Railways, are eligible to apply if they have a minimum of three years of service, whether continuous or in broken spells. |

Candidates involved in quasi-administrative roles within the railway organization, such as positions in railway canteens, institutes & cooperative societies are eligible to apply. |

For the RRB Technician Grade 1 Signal, candidates must possess one of the following educational qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute, OR A B.Sc. degree in a combination of any sub-stream within the basic streams of Physics, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute. OR Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in a combination of any of the above basic streams, OR A degree in Engineering in the mentioned basic streams or a combination of any of the specified basic streams. |
RRB Technician Grade 3 |
For the RRB Technician Grade 3, the required educational qualification is: Completion of Matriculation/SSLC plus an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) qualification from recognized institutions affiliated with NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training) in the relevant trade. OR Completion of Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trades. |
