Eligibility Criteria and age limit
Age Limit
The eligibility criteria for applying to this post require candidate to be between 18 to 45 age. There is age relaxation for different categories.
Educational Qualification
Appearing for HP TGT Candidate must qualify HP TET Examination.
HP TET TGT(Non-Medical) |
(a) B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) Or (b) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed.) / 4 years B.Sc.(NM)Ed Or (c) B.Sc (NM) with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) (Special Education). |
Exam Pattern
Paper- 1
A Computer Based Test (CBT) or Offline Screening Test of one hour duration consisting of 50 Questions having 100 marks as follow:
- General knowledge of Himachal Pradesh = 30 Marks
- General knowledge of National and International Affairs = 30 Marks
- Knowledge of Hindi language = 20 Marks
- Knowledge of English language = 20 Marks
This paper will be a qualifying paper only and candidates are required to obtain 35% pass marks in this paper.
Paper- 2
A Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) (objective type) of two hours duration having 100 marks as per the syllabus to be decided by the Commission from time to time.
