Overview

• The most recent HP General Duty Constable & Constable Driver exam was held on 27th March 2022.
• Regarding the salary, both General Duty Constables and Constable Drivers in Himachal Pradesh Police earn a monthly salary ranging from ₹5,910 to ₹20,200, with a grade pay of ₹1,900. After eight years of regular service, the pay band increases to ₹10,300 to ₹34,800 with a grade pay of ₹3,200. Additionally, they are eligible for various allowances such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), Medical Allowance, and Travel Allowance.

Eligibility Criteria and age limit

Age Limit

The minimum age to apply for the exam is 18 years and the upper age limit for the General category is 25 years. However, there are upper age relaxations available for certain categories.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have an educational qualification of class 10+2 pass for the minimum academic criteria for this recruitment.
