TYPES OF GROUP B SERVICES

Group B services from the mid level of the Government Ministries and Department .Some of these services also get an opportunity to enter in to Group A services either through promotion or deputation on seniority-cum-merit basis.

Gazetted Group B Services

The posts category from the upper level of Group B services and are placed just below the upper level ogf Group A services. Note : Erstwhile Section officer(Audit),Section Officer(Commercial) exam conducted by staff selection commission will henceforth be conducted by UPSC as per the Government Resolution No.18 dated 10^th January 2013.
