Individuals currently employed as Group ‘C’ Railway Staff or former Group ‘D’ Railway Staff, as well as Casual Labour and Substitutes in Railways, are eligible to apply if they have at least three years of service, whether continuous or accumulated through intermittent periods. |

Candidates involved in quasi-administrative roles within the railway organization, such as positions in railway canteens, institutes & cooperative societies are eligible to apply. |

According to the RRB Paramedical Recruitment candidates must have: A B.Sc. (Science Graduate) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (one-year course) from a recognized institution, plus 3 months of internship training in a hospital, or A B.Sc. in Home Science and an M.Sc. in Home Science (Food and Nutrition) from a recognized institution. |
Nursing Superintendent |
A Certificate as a Registered Nurse and Midwife, which requires completion of a 3-year course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a Nursing school or institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, or A B.Sc. in Nursing. Additionally, the Indian Nursing Council has established special concessions for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives, Midwives, and B Grade Nurses, including reduced course durations. Candidates who obtain their qualifications through these concessions are also eligible for recruitment. |
Audiologist & Speech Therapist |
Candidates must have: A Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognized university, and Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is required. |
Clinical Psychologist |
A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Psychology from a recognized university is required for the Clinical Psychologist post according to the RRB Paramedical Recruitment. |
Dental Hygienist |
Candidates must meet the following requirements: A Degree in Science (Biology) from a recognized university or an equivalent institution, and A Diploma or Certificate Course (2 years) in Dental Hygiene from an institute recognized by the Dental Council of India, and Registration with the Dental Council of India as a Dental Hygienist, and Two years of experience as a Dental Hygienist. Note: The experience requirement may be relaxed at the discretion of the Competent Authority for SC/ST candidates if there are insufficient qualified candidates from these communities to fill the reserved posts. |
Dialysis Technician |
Candidates must have: A B.Sc. degree, and Either: A Diploma in Haemodialysis, or Two years of satisfactory in-house training or experience in hemodialysis work at a reputed institution (with proof to be attached). |
Health & Malaria Inspector Grade 3 |
A B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as a main or optional subject, plus one of the following: A one-year Diploma in Health or Sanitary Inspector, or A one-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. |
Laboratory Superintendent |
Candidates must have: A B.Sc. degree with either: Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Science, or Chemistry and Biology as main or optional/subsidiary subjects, along with a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or an equivalent qualification, or A Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology (Laboratory) from a recognized institution. |
Laboratory Assistant Grade 2 |
Candidates must have: A Higher Secondary (10+2) education in Science, plus one of the following: A Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) Diploma, or A Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology equivalent to a DMLT, provided: The course is from an institution recognized by a University or Technical Board of a State/Central Government authority, The course duration is at least one year, The training was completed on a full-time basis, The course includes a system of examination that the candidate has successfully passed. Certificates obtained through Open and Distance Learning from universities established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, institutions deemed to be universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and institutions of national importance declared by an Act of Parliament are automatically recognized for employment under the Central Government, provided they are approved by the University Grants Commission. |
Perfusionist |
A B.Sc. degree with either: A Diploma in Perfusion Technology, or Three years of experience as a Cardio Pulmonary Pump Technician in a reputed and recognized hospital. |
Physiotherapist Grade 2 |
A Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university, along with two years of practical experience in physiotherapy at a government or private hospital with at least 100 beds. |
Occupational Therapist |
Candidates must have: A Higher Secondary (10+2) education with Science, and A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy. |
Cath Laboratory Technician |
Candidates must have: A B.Sc. degree and a Diploma in Cardiac Professional Cath Lab work from a reputed institution, or Two years of house training or experience in a reputed Cardiac Cath Laboratory. |
Pharmacist (Entry Grade) |
Candidates must have: A Higher Secondary (10+2) education with Physics and Chemistry, and A Diploma in Radiography, X-Ray Technician, or Radiodiagnosis Technology (2-year course) from a recognized institute. Preference will be given to candidates who are Science graduates with the aforementioned diploma. |
Radiographer X-Ray Technician |
Candidates must have: A Higher Secondary (10+2) education with Physics and Chemistry, plus A Diploma in Radiography, X-Ray Technician, or Radiodiagnosis Technology (2-year course) from a recognized institute. Preference will be given to Science graduates with a Diploma in Radiography, X-Ray Technician, or Radiodiagnosis Technology (2-year course). |
Speech Therapist |
Candidates must have: A B.Sc. degree and a Diploma in Audio and Speech Therapy, and Two years of professional experience in the relevant field. |
Cardiac Technician |
Candidates must have: A Higher Secondary (10+2) education in Science, along with a certificate course or diploma in Cardiology Lab Investigations, covering ECG, Holter monitoring, and TMT, or A diploma specifically in Cardiology Lab Investigations. Preference will be given to candidates who are also trained in Echocardiography. |
Optometrist |
Candidates must have: A B.Sc. in Optometry, or A Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician (with a duration of 3 to 4 years). Additionally, the candidate should be registered with the relevant Council or licensing body. |
ECG Technician |
Candidates must have: A Higher Secondary (10+2) education or a graduation in Science, along with a certificate, diploma, or degree in ECG Laboratory Technology, Cardiology, Cardiology Technician, or Cardiology Techniques from a recognized institution. The certificate should be of at least one year in duration. Certificates obtained through Open and Distance Learning from universities established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, institutions deemed to be universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and institutions of national importance declared by an Act of Parliament are automatically recognized for employment under the Central Government, provided they are approved by the University Grants Commission. |
Field Worker |
According to the RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2024, a Higher Secondary (10+2) education in Science with Biology or Chemistry is required for the RRB Field Worker position. |
