    • Mains exam: Candidates who successfully clear the Preliminary Examination move on to the Mains Examination. The Mains Examination is a comprehensive test that evaluates candidates’ knowledge and skills across multiple subjects.
    • Interview: Candidates who qualify in the Mains Examination progress to the Interview stage, which plays a significant role in the final selection process. The Nodal Bank of the respective State/UT conducts the interview. It is a platform for candidates to showcase their personality, communication skills, and subject knowledge.
  • After selection, marks of mains and interviews are calculated, and the final merit list is released. The IBPS releases a list of provisional allotments for selected candidates on its official website. This list outlines the banks and branches where the candidates have been allocated positions.
