Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidates should be in the age range of 18 to 33 years. However, there shall be age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST, OBC, and PwD candidates, as per government norms. The upper age limit criteria for reserved categories of aspirants are as follows –

Educational Qualification
- In order to be eligible to apply for RRB Group D Vacancy 2024, the candidates should have passed 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates who have passed ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT (or) equivalent (OR) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT can also apply. However, the candidates with higher educational qualification are also eligible for Level 1 vacancy.

Selection Process
Process shall consist of –
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Exam Pattern
- Each question shall carry 1 mark while 1/3 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Candidates need to score minimum mark as per recruitment rules to qualify the test.

Physical Efficiency Test
- Every candidate need to qualify through the PET or Physical Efficiency Test of RRB Group D Recruitment.
- Candidates who qualify through CBT shall have to appear for the following PET and qualify through for final selection as Group D under Indian Railways.
For Male Candidates |
Male Candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down & also they should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. |
For Female Candidates |
Female Candidates should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down & they should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance |
