  • The salary for an IBPS Clerk is quite attractive and includes various allowances. Here’s a breakdown:
    • Basic Pay: ₹19,900 per month.
    • In-hand Salary: Approximately ₹28,000 to ₹30,000 per month, including allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and Special Allowance.
    • The salary structure is designed to increase with experience and promotions, with the maximum basic pay reaching up to ₹47,920.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation Degree from a University recognized by the Government of India. 
  • Candidates should have a valid Mark-sheet/Degree: Certificate which supports that they are graduates on the day they were registered for the exam. The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at time of registration for the IBPS Bank-Clerk examination.
  • Computer Literacy:Knowledge of computer operation is a must as IBPS Clerk exam is conducted online.
  • Language Proficiency:Candidates should have verbal and written proficiency in official language of the State/UT. The candidate should be able to read, write and speak the language

Exam Pattern

  • The IBPS Clerk Exam 2024 will be held in two stages: Prelims and Mains.
  • The Prelims Exam will be worth 100 marks for a 1-hour duration while the Mains Exam will be worth 200 marks of 160 minutes.
  • A penalty of 0.25 marks will be imposed for each incorrect answer.
  • Candidates who qualify in the prelims will be shortlisted to appear for the Online Main Examination.
