Age Limit
- Candidates should be between the ages of 20 and 28 years to apply for the RPF SI position.
- Age relaxation is also extended to certain special categories. Check the table below to check the relaxation age:-

Educational Qualification
- Applicants for the RPF SI position must possess the educational qualifications specified in the CEN from a recognized university as of the final application submission date.
- Candidates should be Graduated from a recognized university. Individuals awaiting the results of their final examination for the prescribed educational qualification are advised not to apply.
Selection Process
The RPF (Railway Protection Force) selection process usually encompasses multiple stages aimed at recruiting eligible and competent candidates. The RPF SI Recruitment Process includes three following stages:
- Computer-Based Test:- The standard of RPF SI CBT will be Graduation level. The marks obtained in the CBT will be considered for shortlisting candidates for the subsequent stages of this recruitment process.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Measurement Test (PMT):- Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in CBT shall be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Document Verification (DV) to the extent of 10 times the number of vacancies in each category for Male/Female/Ex-Servicemen as per merit. - Document Verification (DV):-Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT and subject to their qualifying in PET & PMT, candidates shall be considered for Document Verification. The appointment of selected candidates is contingent upon their passing the mandatory Medical Fitness Test conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and category certificates, character and antecedent verification by the local Administration, and successful completion of initial training.

RPF Sub Inspector Salary
RPF Sub Inspector Executive will be paid on the Pay Level in 7th CPC at level 6 with the initial pay of 35,400/-.
