About This Course

• The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) is an entrance exam conducted by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for admission to Class VI and IX in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across India. 
• It aims to identify talented students from rural areas and provide them with quality education. 
• The test includes sections on mental ability, arithmetic, and language skills. 
• JNVST is held annually in two phases, typically in January and April. 
• Successful candidates gain admission to one of the 653 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
• Class 6 JNVST

Application Form Date: Last date to submit the application is in September.

Exam Dates: The exam will be conducted in two phases:

• Phase 1: January
• Phase 2: April

Result Date: The results are expected to be released in May.

• Class 9 JNVST

Application Form Date: The last date to submit the application is in November.

Exam Date: February

Result Date: March

Eligibility Criteria (Age Limit)

Class 9: Candidates must be aged between 13 to 15 years.

Exam Pattern

Class IX :- (Time – 2 hours and 30 min)

NOTE: Selected candidates will have to face an Interview Board at school and a Medical Board in the Government Civil Hospital. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written test and interview.
