HPPSC Forest Service Written Examination Syllabus 

The written exam will Include total of five papers from which three are compulsory while candidate can choose two optional papers. Read the syllabus from below.

Candidates after clearing the screening test are called for the written examination. Check the exam pattern for same.

Mode of Examination – Offline

No. of Papers – 5 ( 3 compulsory sections & 2 optional)

Duration of Exam – 3 hours (each paper)

Mode of Language – English & Hindi

Paper  1 – 100 Marks

Paper  2 – 100 Marks

Paper  3 – 100 Marks

Paper  4 – 200 Marks

Paper  5 – 200 Marks

Mode of Examination – Online (Computer Based Test)

Duration of Exam – 120 minutes (2 hour)

Type of Questions – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

No. of Questions – 100

Marking Scheme – (+1) mark for correct answer & (-0.33) for incorrect answer

Section 1 – 30 Marks

Section 2 – 30 Marks

Section 3 – 40 Marks

Total       100 Marks

Section 3 –  Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian Culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India, Disaster Management, Environment and Gender Issues and teaching of Mahatma Gandhi.
