Selection Process
The selection process for the Himachal Pradesh Judiciary Services includes a comprehensive three-stage examination followed by a viva voce. Candidates must qualify at each stage to progress further in the recruitment process.
Preliminary Examination (Objective)
- Papers: Civil Law-I, Civil Law-II, and Criminal Law (100 marks each, 1-hour duration per paper).
- Total Marks: 300 (No negative marking).
Main Examination (Narrative)
- Papers: Civil Law-I, Civil Law-II, Criminal Law, English Composition, and Hindi.
- Total Marks: 850 (Minimum qualifying marks: 45% aggregate, 33% in Hindi).
Viva-Voce
- Marks: 150 (Minimum qualifying: 45%).
