About This Course
- JEE Main 2025, organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is a computer-based online examination that serves as the gateway to securing admission into prestigious undergraduate engineering programs in India.
- For many aspirants, the dream of securing a seat in one of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology is the driving force behind their JEE Main preparation. These premier institutions are known for their cutting-edge research, world-class faculty, and excellent placement opportunities.
- The JEE exam is divided into two papers first JEE Main and second JEE Advanced. Only those students who are able to clear JEE Main cut-off are given the chance to appear for JEE Advanced paper. Admissions in IITs, NITs, and CFTIs are based on the marks obtained in JEE exam.

Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Age Limit |
There is no age limit for the candidates who are appearing for JEE Main examination. They should have either passed XII Std/equivalent qualifying examination in the same year or two years prior. If they are willing to take admissions into their desiring Institutes then they must fulfill age limit requirements of that Institute. |
Qualifying Exam |
· Should be in the final year of the examination of 10+2. · The Joint Service Wing of the National Defence Academy is eligible provided they have a two-year course. · Passed 10+2 conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. · A 3-year diploma holder will also be eligible for JEE Main. · Students from the (NIOS) appearing for 10+2 should select the State for eligibility. |

Students aspiring to appear for JEE Main can give three attempts in consecutive years. |
Subjects Pursued in the Qualifying Exam |
It is mandatory for the aspirant to pass the qualifying exam with a minimum of 5 subjects. The set of 5 subjects includes Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject, and any other subject. |
