Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Age Limit
- Candidates applying for the MNS 2024 exam must have been born between October 1, 1999, and September 30, 2007.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have successfully completed the 12th-grade examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), and English, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Furthermore, candidates must have been regular students of a recognized board and passed their 12th board exam on their first attempt.
Selection Process
Candidates participating in the MNS exam must successfully navigate through the following stages to secure admission to the 4-year B.Sc. Nursing course. Upon completion of this program, successful candidates will be commissioned into the Military Nursing Service of the Indian Army as Lieutenants. Here’s an overview of the MNS selection process:
- National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG)
- Test of General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE), worth 80 marks
- Objective-type Psychological Assessment Test (PAT)
- Interview
- Medical Examination

- ToGIGE consists of 20 Questions of English and 20 Questions of General Intelligence.
- ToGIGE consists of 40 Questions.For every right answer aspirant gets +2 marks and for every wrong answer the candidate gets -0.5 .Time Dedicated for ToGIGE is 30 mins
- The selection process for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) includes a stage called the Psychological Assessment Test (PAT). Prior to your panel interview, there will be a PAT round as part of the MNS selection process. This round will function similarly to an elimination round. You will have 30 minutes allotted to you during which you must respond to 40 questions based on the psychological evaluation test. This test’s main purpose is to compile a psychological evaluation report of applicants, which a psychologist will review and analyze.
