Geo Informatics

Mass Communication/Media Specialist

Selection Process

  • The selection process for NABARD Grade A consists of multiple stages designed to assess the candidates. Understanding the selection process is crucial for strategic preparation. The recruitment process for NABARD Grade A is divided into three phases;
    • Preliminary Exam (Phase I): An online objective test that serves as a screening exam. It includes sections like English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Economic & Social Issues.
    • Mains Exam (Phase II): Candidates who qualify for the prelims are eligible for the main exam, which includes both objective and descriptive sections. The focus is on core subjects relevant to rural development and agriculture.
    • Interview: Candidates who clear the main exam are called for an interview. This stage assesses the candidates’ personality, knowledge, and suitability for the role.

  • Questions will be asked from 8 subjects.
  • A total of 200 questions will be asked from 200 marks.
  • The question paper will be set Bilingually – Hindi and English except for test of English Language
  • The selection process includes both qualifying sections (Reasoning, English, Computer, Quantitative, Decision Making) and merit-based sections (General Awareness, Economic & Social Issues, Agriculture & Rural Development).
  • Short listing for the Main exam depends solely on the merit-based sections.
