About This Course
- NSEC stands for National Standard Examination in Chemistry and is jointly organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education and the Indian Association of Physics Teachers.
- This test is conducted by the authorities every year in November, and several examination centers are designated for its administration.
- The purpose of conducting the NSEC exam is to create a national and international platform for students who wish to compete in the field of Chemistry.

Eligibility Criteria
NSEC exam is conducted for the students who have studied Chemistry and scored good grades. Students of Class 11 and Class 12 can take this exam. Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the NSEC 2024-25 exam:-
- Students should have a valid Indian passport.
- Students must have been born between July 1, 2005, and June 30, 2010; both dates are inclusive.
- Students must have lived and studied in India since November 30, 2023. In other words, students must have attended an Indian educational system since November 30, 2023.
- Students must not have passed (or finished) Class XII board examinations in 2023.
- Students are not allowed to take any NSEJS tests.
- Students must not have started (or plan to start) studies at a university or equivalent institution by June 1, 2024.
