Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

Indian Naval Academy (INA) – 19 to 22

Air Force Academy – 19 to 23

Indian Military Academy (IMA) – 19 to 24

Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) – 19 to 25

Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for Men) – 19 to 25

Qualification

Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA)

Bachelor’s Degree From a recognised university

Indian Naval Academy (INA)

Bachelors in Engineering from a recognised University

Air Force Academy (AFA)

Graduation (with Physics and Mathematics at Class 12) or Bachelor of Engineering

Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be an unmarried male/female and must be:- A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st Jan, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India).

Physical and Medical Standards

Candidates must be physically and mentally fit according to prescribed physical and medical standards/guidelines.
